There are haracteristics of language:

- Accent: is a more specific mode of personal discourse characterized by how people articulate certain words using a uinique inflection or tone.
-Dialect: is the unique pronounciation , grammar, and vocabulary we use when speaking. Morover, it can influence another person's perspective of us ( there are also differences between countries (USA, UK, New Zealand, Australia, etc.) and different dialects as well (India)
- Argot: a secret vocabulary developed by an in- group to keep outsiders from understanding their message.
- Jargon: a type of specialized vocabulary that is shared among knowledgeable in group members.
- Sociolect (: depend on speaker's social class. they will have differences language
- Dynamic:  it changes constantly; words and meanings may even vary from one generation to the other
