there are 3 distinct ways that it can go wrong seriously
1. Messages encounter transmission problems, prohibiting information from reaching its destination
2. Errors can occur when messages are transmitted so their original meaning is not conveyes as intended
3. Messages may be accurately sent and received, but a shared understanding of the situation does not exist among parties

=> it is clear that besides its advantages, we also meeting with some its drawback which can influence badly our results if we are not careful
