English which is the most popular language in the world, so learning English language becomes a critical factor if we totally want to keep pace with global trend. Someone believes that an English- speaking country maybe is a great environment for applying specific skills such as communication, especially listening and speaking. In my opinion, depending on ability and condition of each person, there are many ways to be fluent the language not only this manner.

There is no denying that the English- speaking country brings large advantages to learners. The advantages including we can learn how to pronounce in the correct way and listening skill can be improved as well. In particularly, when we communicate with the natives, who cannot speak Vietnamese, we absolutely use English all the time, so speaking and listening automatically as well as remembering new words will be consolidated appreciably. Besides, they seem to be a “bridge”, which help us understand deeply about their culture; this can create an interest in language cultivating in effective way.

In fact, we totally understand conditions to learn English in foreign country and not everybody can do it, especially someone who has difficult situation. It is clear that they have to use the other methods to learn English not only studying abroad. Learning a lot from friends, teachers or someone who is reach peaks of this language can create gold experiences for beginners and after that, we have to change them into ours by practicing time by time. In addition, applying short- term English courses was great idea in order to approach the native teachers with a reasonable cost. Apart from studying- time in the class, we have to frequently practice following to teachers’ advices, which are to listen some conversations or watch films in English, talk to our self in front of a mirror about unknown topics, read online newspapers such as BBC, CNN or something like this to build the vocabulary fast and write short or long essays even paragraphs based on the work- book and the knowledge.

In the familiar methods, we totally study not only English language but also the others. Therefore, we should not depend too much on environment conditions or external factors for learning any language because the most important thing which can help us proficient the language is an inquiring mind.
