ü Opportunities:
- Joining the WTO, Vietnam was the market access of goods and services in all member countries with import tariffs have been cut.
- Complete legal and economic, public and transparent implementation of the management institutions under WTO rules, so the business environment of Vietnam is increasingly improved.
- Vietnam have equal status as other members of the policy making global trade, have the opportunity to fight in order to establish a new economic order fairer, more logical, conditional to protect the interests of the country's businesses.
- Promote the reform process in the country, ensuring that the reform process of Vietnam more uniform, more effective.
- Enhance our position in the international arena, creating conditions for Vietnam to effectively implement the foreign policy.
ü Challenges:
- Competition will take place tougher, with many "competitors" than on broader, deeper.
- International economic integration in a globalized world, as interdependence between countries will increase. In terms of country with limited resources, the legal system is not complete, operational experience economy; it is very difficult to capture market
- International economic integration poses new problems in protecting the environment, protecting national security and preserving cultural identity and good traditions of the nation, against pragmatic lifestyle, running under currency.
- Prices of imported commodities pushed up by the currency is undervalued will lead to imbalances in goods and services in practice.
- Having shift of capital from the developed countries to Vietnam. It increases the number of investors, accelerating the process of economic development
